Re: Good Grief! (Reply to this comment)

Funnily enough, I will be going to an acupuncturist in 3-1/2 hours, who is also a chiropractor, herbalist and vet. It's not for me though. My eldest bunny, Rascal E. Rabbit, has a chronic problem with his back leg, and we are trying to get him some help.
I totally agree with your approach to medicine. My own chiropractor is also into acupuncture, herbalism and sports medicine (ultrasound rocks!). I won't hesitate to use acupuncture if it seems appropriate. Modern medicine is fantastic for immediate problems, but I find alternative remedies and lifestyle change works best for chronic ones.
The headaches are a curse, I must admit. During a cluster, you can think of little else. Fortunately, the memory quickly fades once they pass. They have certainly forced me to clean up my act, which may prove to be a blessing in disguise.

I simply cannot imagine the hell you must endure with these horrible headaches! Fortunately the Excedrin helped you quickly in this instance.
I'll just throw this out there for your consideration. Have you tried acupuncture? I see an acupuncturist as my regular doctor, for everything from knees problems, to colds, to infections, you name it. Acupuncture seems to work especially well with chronic issues. Just a thought :)
Take care,
Amy
