I spent one week at this hotel while attending a local art workshop. I picked the hotel because of its location, the availability of a complimentary van shuttle, and the presence of a gym.
My family and I had a executive suite in the new building on the bay side. The room had two kings size beds, 2 TVs, sofa and lounge area, and bathroom with a separate toilet room. The room was new, pleasant, and overlooked the bay.
The first room the hotel put us in was on the freeway side of the the new suites. Even with the air conditioner running, the noise level on the freeway side of the hotel made the room intolerable. According to the front desk personnel, the Orbitz reservation system did not send them our request for a bay-side room. We had to stay in the noisy, freeway close room for one night until another room became available.
The hotel van was unreliable. The pickup for our airport departure was 1/2 hour late.
The gym consists of three treadmills and a TV.
There is no restaurant. The morning brunch is sad. Particulary in the executive building -- day-old donuts, sorry-looking bread, banannas, and orange juice. Even the kids didn't want to eat it.
Overall, the hotel was a disappointment.
