While I agree that the book may be a bit overlong with too much going on, it is still an excellent piece of work. I absolutely love reading Clancy and think his work is, often, very soundly based in fact. Yes, even a lot of what happens with Ryan. Guess this comes from being very close to someone with a Special Ops background.

This book was the one that made me give up on Clancy after really enjoying some of his earlier books. Too much preaching politics started to bring down the quality of his work.
Dogs and cats living together - nice touch.
