Pros: You can take small kids up for a nap cause the rooms are so close.
Cons: A bit expensive. Extra fees show up on final bill.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this as a first water park experience or for young children. Any Nick Jr fan would be thrilled! Save money in the off season.

Booking the room was simple with there user friendly website. We went in September of 2008. So the rates were rock bottom prices. About $125 a night for a two bedroom. This room is usually $200 or s o a night. They do tack on lots of fees, which total around $50 a night. This does include bus transportation to Disney parks and access to the nick jr water parks that our on the hotel property.
The lobby was kid friendly without being tacky. And the employees were nice. Check in was a breeze. We did check in around 11pm on a Wednesday, so we were the only ones in the lobby. I read on the website that kids have there own check in desk and that they receive small gifts, but I never did see this area anywhere.
The keys to the room are bracelets that everyone must where, even children and you must keep them on during your entire stay. They also have security before you enter the parking lot that you have to show the bracelet to before they will let you enter the property.
The room was better than I expected it to be. The first room has a small comfy sofa which pulls out to a bed. One big chair next to a big lamp. Also there are two dining chairs with a small table. There is a large flat screen t.v. There was also a microwave, sink, dorm sized fridge, and counter space. It was a very nice set up.
The kids room, which my children (ages 5, 8) got a huge kick out of, was decked out in sponge bob. There was a huge mural on two of the walls. It had all the characters from the cartoon delightfully displayed. There were two twin beds with bright comforters and one pillow each, a side table sat between the beds. There was a ceiling fan as well as a lamp. There was a closet but it was small, not much storage space. The t.v. was housed in a built in entertainment center. There were drawers at the bottom to put your clothes. If your children are gamers, they will love the play station 2 that is hooked up and ready to go included in the room. You can rent games in the mall area of the hotel.
Master bedroom had a king sized bed with plenty of pillows and soft blankets and sheets. It had a night stand on one side and a writing desk on the other. This room also had a built in t.v. entertainment center with drawers built in. The safe which is small is also in this room. There was a ceiling fan and two lamps.
The bathroom was a decent sized. There was a tub/shower combo. Plenty of sink space and a regular toilet. The towels were normal towels and there were plenty of them.
The rooms were clean. The carpet was soft. And the room smelled nice.
There were three problems worth mentioning with our two night stay.
1) The smaller of the two water parks was closed and we were not informed of it until we checked in. This did make the other water park busier.
2) The safe in our room had to be changed out. We were dressed and ready to go to the water park and when we went to lock our valuables in our safe we realized it didn't work. Maintenance was sent to look at it. They came after 15 minutes which seems like forever when the kids and my husband are longing to go to the water park. The maintenance guy had to fetch batteries, which took another 15 minutes. Then he realized that the safe just did not work. So another safe had to be brought up, yes you guessed it, another 15 minutes. The manager came up after my husband had requested him to. He did give us a $50 credit to spend in the gift shop, but you could tell that he really didn't want to.
3) Housekeeping arrived during the problem mentioned above. She said she would come back, but she never did. We has order pizza the night before so the room smelled like it during the entire stay. the room never got cleaned during our two night and three day stay.
The water park was nice and clean. It kept us busy for most of the day, but we were bored by dinner time. We all had special drinks at the pool bar, the kids got neat slime milkshakes. About $25 for 2 beers and 2 milkshakes.
The water park has a huge pool, a hot tub, baby area, climbing area with several slides and a bucket that dumps on the kids every 5 minutes or so. They also have free miniature golf and pool table next to the pool. There is another water park but it was closed therefore I did not go over there. The words water park are really glorifyingthe facility. It is a large water playground.
The mall area houses a food court, we only ate at the pizza hut express. There was a sit down formal meal area and some other fast food type restaurants. There was also two gift shops. One focused mainly on toys and the other focused mainly on necessities like cameras, toiletries, t-shirts, etc. There was a kids spa which you could pay for nick jr tattoos or to have your nails painted, and yes it's overpriced. There was a large arcade and some 4-d movies that cost $5 each.
Parking was easy and somewhat close to the room. The rooms are "motel style" with the door being outside and not in a hallway. There are plenty of photo opportunities located throughout the hotel. There are a few statues like the thinking chair and the blues clues dog. You can also feed the ducks for a quarter just outside the mall area.
It was a nice hotel and if the price is low and your kids are into nick jr or water parks then it's a great idea. I think it is also a great starter water park because it's small and it's easy to keep an eye on your children.
