This percolator makes great tea or coffee. Simply toss in a few tea bags & wait.
I used canned coffee with no annoying paper filter.
The coffee grind basket didn't allow as many coffee grinds to pass though like some older percolators.
Its high wattage heats the coffee faster than a few older percolators.
There is no hollow glass bubble in the lid to leak, wash or break.
For the best tasting percolated coffee simply listen for it to stop & unplug the percolator when it completes its cycle.
Using any percolator to keep coffee hot will reduce the life of the heating element, waste electricity & make the coffee taste too strong unless the grinds are removed.
