Pros:stainless steel, cooks at low heat
Cons:can stick and stain
The Bottom Line: Stylish, cooks on low heat, stainless
I am a nurse who is concerned about aluminum cookware. It has already been banned in some European countries including England because of the ties with Alzheimers Disease. Well, I decided that when it's my time to go, I want to leave this world knowing who my family is. It also leeches into the food and can cause that "off" taste. That's when I decided to go stainless steel. There are a lot more expensive set out there including the 20/20 sets which are made from surgical stainless steel. This set is 20/18, which means it will stain with some things and most especially with burning. But it is also about 70% cheaper, so I opted for this set. I am very happy with it. It cooks well at low heat and you don't have to use plastic implements. It cleans easily if you don't burn your food. You can use steel wool---remember Brillo? With all the no stick cookware, Brillo hasn't been in my home for years! Anyway, so far I have enjoyed this cookware and have not had a problem with staining thus far. My food tastes good and I have peace of mind that I have reduced the risk of Alzheimer's to my family.
