We purchased this when our old, I mean old, Farberware pot decided to bite the dust. We love the taste of percolated coffee and decided to upgrade. This is a wonderful product. It makes delicious coffee and is easy to use. Plus there is no glass carafe to break. We set ours up at night and in the morning, our coffee is ready to drink, no waiting. The smell alone wakes us up and it is very sturdy, easy to use and is made to last a long long time.
I have tried the drip coffee makers but usually ended up with either breaking the carafe or it not working correctly after a short time. They leak and the coffee usually has a bitter taste and drip all over the counter top. This is clean looking, very attractive and does not break. The taste of the coffee is much better than any of the drip coffee makers that I have tried. It also takes up less space on the counter top and is easy to keep clean and new looking. The stainless steel matches any decor and the sound of the coffee perking brings back memories from my childhood. This is not only attractive, but fully functional and affordable. I am planning to buy one for my son and future daughter in law as a gift for their upcoming wedding shower. There is no comparison for me with other coffee makers. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a fresh cup of coffee in the morning.
