Well, I just bought this exact machine. The only problem I have is the digital readout. On a scale of 1-10, I give this damn coffee percolator an 8. My only problem with this machine is that I cannot see whether or not it is off or on. As far as the flavor of the coffee, it's your fault if you don't put enough in or too much. As far as the diversability, I give it a 10. I can always put this pot back on the crock to warm. That is the only complaint I have about this. Overall difference, the on and off button. I can't stand digital readout for what is or what isn't. Give me a light to tell me it's on or off period.
I bought this product based on prior reference to the name and having similar products in the past. I was aware of what this product had to offer but did not look close enough. My fault.
Brewing time is one minute per one ounce - enough time for me to retrieve the paper up the street and come back home. I drink a lot of coffee and recommend this product for those who want quick response. It is better than other traditional coffee makers I have used in the past. Do prefer stainless steel as compared to "plastic".
Overall, I love the machine with its art deco stylistic quality. If you're up to date and nouveau and want a quality piece of machinery, GET IT!
