Pros: Great smooth sounding acoustic which plugs in and rates highly in its price level.
Cons: for 400 dollars there are no relative cons.
The Fender DG 16 12 is a great guitar in its price range. For 400 dollars it can compare with acoustic guitars priced around 700. A great full and smooth sounding acoustic it still has the ability to plug in, equipped with volume and tone controls. Although I would not recommend it for someone on a performing level, for a personal good guitarist it is wonderful. It holds its tune very well and the frets are nicely laid out and easy to move about. The sound seems to fit the style of a Dave Matthews or smooth acoustic style music, as opposed to Bob Dylan sounding folky style. I could see all levels using the instruments as it is easy to play yet still has a great complete sound. Overall, my recommendation is for anyone looking to spend this amount of money on a guitar i strongly suggest they buy the Fender DG16 12.
