Thanks for taking time to leave your comments. I am glad that my posting of the ingredients was of help.
And, thank you for opening my eyes to something new as well. We usually take for granted the things in foods are safe for us and don't really research these items. I think I will review your 2nd comment further for my own benefit.
I appreciate your comments very much!

Fiber One Bars (Reply to this comment)
by dianapinions
Hi there,
I am glad you enjoy these bars. For me personally, there are two things that give me pause about these bars (besides the fact that they seem to upset my stomach when I eat them)
1. The fifth ingredient is hydrogenated coconut oil, a source of trans fat. The label claims it has zero trans fat, probably because of the FDA rule that products whose serving size contains less than 0.5 grams trans fat are not required to list the trans fat content. Still, I personally try to avoid hydrogenated fats, as much as possible.
2. I didn't realize, before reading your review, that these bars contain shellac. My understanding is that confectionary shellac comes from insects, such as beetles. I think I'll pass on that.
Just my two cents.
