Honor Harrington gets bloodied!
Written: Apr 23 '02
Pros:Brings Honor to life, giving her more feelings that we have seen in previous books.
Cons: This action is fought with political bullets, rather than ship-born missles.
The Bottom Line: This story brings you from space down to ground level for a political battle that is as vicious as any space battle.
This installment of the Honor Harrington series is yet another chance to see the tenacious Honor Harrington in action.
While you may think that Honor is the perfect captain of a ship of war, you may not be ready for her consternation at having to deal with the back stabbing and vicious battles that occur in the shadows of the political world.
I cannot tell you too much of the plot, without giving away the story. Suffice it to say that this story is about Honor having a life away from her ship(s) and among her many friends and enemies. How she handles the battles that she has to fight in the Royal court and political houses makes this story riveting.
Read this and learn how Honor handles the really tough situations. Then move back to the fights in space in the next book(s).
Cheers!
