zetaeridani's Full Review: Final Fantasy IX for PlayStation 1
I could not have dreamed of a world more beautful than the one presented in this game. It had it all and much more, all available for hours and even days of entertainment
So then, what made me love this game so much? Let's start out by saying that the graphics were far ahead of their time with no game nearly matching thier beauty nor their loading spead.
The game also presented the player with a wide variety of music produced by a man by the name of Nobuo Uematsu. throughout the last few years the final fantasy games have attracted much attention do to thier music alone. Thousands are fans of thier outstanding music, visiting websites and buying thier CDs.
One of the best features of this game is it's outstanding plot. Which integrated with the magnificent setting as well as the two features above created what some would say is the best game of all time. The plot is rather intricate and allows a great deal of replay value. I have even heard from a great number of people that this game is even better it's second time around for that reason.
The game also has many side-quests and games that allow for even more fun to come of playing or replaying the game. Many of the include the mognet central search, chocobo hot and cold, and Tetra Master, the iingeneous card game that was invented in making FF9.
So then why do some people not like the game? There is one primary reason why people aren't especially attracted to the game, and to be honest it doesnt really bother me. This "negative" about the game is it's linear plot that for some is enough reason to not buy it.
So all in all, the game is definately worth the money someone would have to pay for it. The price is a mere $20 these days and provides at very least 45 hours of entertainment that no RPG lover could not like.
