| Furbster's Full Review: Find Furby Game |
I received this game as a gift from my mother who knows I'm just crazy about Furby. Even though I'm not a kid or the suggested age group for this game, I rather like it!
I think the cute-ness factor is higher then the competition factor. Which to me is good. Children should enjoy the game, not just playing it for competition purposes.
Even though the game can be played with more then 2, it is easily played alone as well.
The game comes with a big cloud, where the game control buttons are in the middle of and all around the cloud are spots for the 9 Furby figurines to stand on.
The figurines are very colorful and cute, all of the colors of fur patterns are from real Furby patterns.
The whole general object of the game is to match as many of the Furbys to the sounds they make by pressing them onto the pad in the middle of the cloud.
There are two versions of this game you can play. The first one is much easier then the same one. The game will tell you a sound or Furbish phrase and you are to match one of the figurines to that sound. Each player takes a turn guessing, until one of them gets the correct Furby that says the correct phrase. Then that player goes again. Play is continued until all Furbys are taken off of the cloud. The player with the most Furby figures at the end of the game is the winner.
The second version of the game is almost the same, with an exception. It is basically a guessing game. Instead of each figure having an assigned sound for the entire game, like the first version of the game. Instead, the sound will change each time. So it is a more advanced level of guessing. Again, whoever has the most figures at the end of the game wins.
It is simple and easy, so almost any age level can play, except for the really young kids. The sounds of the game are very cute, I do enjoy that aspect alone. I think that even an adult who doesn't enjoy Furby would find this game to be quite cute!
There is one thing about this game that I didn't like at first. It was really hard to get some of the pieces to make the game react when I first pressed them down on the pad. Some required almost no pressure and 2 of them required lots of force to get it to react. That was only when I first got the game. After several games, it seemed that things worked themselves out and I have no trouble getting the pieces to work with the game anymore. So the problem seemed to fix itself after a few games.
Other then that, I can't think of anything negative to say about this game. I think it was very well made and stuck very well to Furby and his world. Sometimes toys just don't keep in tune with the facts of the characters, but this game is Furbish in all ways.
Overall I really enjoy this, I think it's high quality and very cute.
