| shopprnicole's Full Review: Finesse Color Care Shampoo |
After using it for months, all I can say is that it disgusts me. It doesn't make my hair feel clean. And I don't care for the smell. It leaves my hair feeling like it has some kind of residue on it. It doesn't care for my hair at all--it does the opposite. As with the other Finesse products I tried, it leaves "scum on your scalp."
Used Along With
Finesse Color Care Conditioner
Directions (from the back of the bottle)
Apply to wet hair. Gently work into lather. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Repeat if desired. For best results, use with Finesse Color Care Conditioner.

The Scent
I don't find the smell of any Finesse products attractive at all. I think it smells like cheap mens shampoo. Or cheap hotel shampoo. I don't find it womanly at all, and I certainly wouldn't want anyone to smell it on me. I like flowers and salon product scents much more, and this is nothing close.
Package Design
The bottle is pretty boring. It is blue. It looks cheap, like its cost. I think their package design needs a lot of work. It doesn't make me want to buy the product. I only bought it because I wanted to see if it actually cared for my colored hair.
In Use
It lathers well. It doesn't feel good in my hair though. It might be the smell that makes me think this. It also seems to leave residue. I used this for 2 or 3 months and then I couldn't even finish the bottle because I couldn't stand it anymore. I was not the only one in the house with this feeling.
Color Care?!
I didn't notice any difference with my color. It seemed to do exactly what it always does without color care shampoo and conditioner. I think it's a scam to get people to buy the product. I'm sure all Finesse products work the same.

I've Decided I Don't Like Finesse
This is the first Finesse product I have tried. About a year later I tried Finesse Enhancing shampoo. I experienced similar problems with that as well. I will no longer buy Finesse products. They all seem to be scummy.
