This is my second set of Indy 500 my first set, it was called SS20, lasted 70 thousand miles and still had some room to the wear bar.
Excellent wet traction. Living in a city that holds water like a cup I often go thru puddles that can stretch 20+ feet long and have never had a hydro plain. Roads here will also hold water in the treacherous 1in level where hydro-planing is frequent and these tires hold the road excellently.
Tire wear is very minimal if you keep your tires inflated. My last set lasted about 70 thousand miles.
Braking is exceptional. They grip the road when you stomp on the brakes and have saved my a** a few times after looking up and saying oh sh*t and hitting the breaks.
Ride is great. Yes tires have something to do with ride. The more air the stiffer the ride. I run mine at 35 psi and for me it gives just the correct firmness and tire stance.
Expensive $120 per tire when I bought these but I found them online at less than half price and let Firestone install them and still saved $40 per tire after it was all over with.
