Pros: It was on sale
Cons: Noisy, inconsistent size, balance, etc.
I purchased the Firehawk SS20 for my 1998 Bravada, and starting having problems with balance and noise from the start. The handling was ok, but not above average. After 3 months I had to take the Bravada in for a transfer case and vibration problem, only to find that the vibration problem was caused due to a variance of 124cm to 128cm size in the tires. This can cause considerable problems on a vehicle like the Bravada with all wheel drive / Acutrac. The tires also could not seem to stay in balance. They were rotated as required. The tire dealer was great. They replaced all four of the SS20's with the new Indy 500. So far, no problems. I cannot recommend the Firehawks - in fact I would avoid it altogether.
