I used this from birth until four months with my son. I really loved having it. He never slid or rolled out of it. The positioner inside it kept him in place. The positioner also kept him sleeping on his back, which I found nice. I slept better knowing that he was right there. It is also portable so I was able to take it on vacation. I had friends who nursed and found this to be a godsend. It is the safest way to have your baby sleep in the same bed with you. I never feared that I was going to roll over on him or that he was going to roll out of the bed. This is the one item I love to buy for baby showers if I see it on their registry. We gave ours away after my son outgrew it. When I found out I was pregnant again this was the first thing that I purchased. I do wish that it was able to hold infants older than four months, but I am just an overprotective mom! Some might not consider it worth the expense, but I found it gave me peace of mind. I slept better knowing he was right there.
