Daily outdoor excursions need not halt when the littlest attend the in home daycare/preschool. Just tote the Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome along, quickly set it up, and enjoy the fresh air splendor. Oh… the great outdoors!!!!
Seriously, we attempt to go outside twice a day – regardless of weather conditions. The children that I care for range in age from baby through 11 years of age. With a crowd this diverse, the gear needs to meet a multitude of needs. Add to this the space constrictions within our home, and you will understand why I appreciate baby equipment that is easy to tuck away. Such is the case with this fine Fisher Price product.
I highly recommend the Fisher Price Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome for use with infants. This portable play structure also serves as a safe nap spot.

The Fisher Price Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome is one of the pieces of baby equipment that I consider essential. Perhaps my main reasoning is because I am the parent of a child that suffered with reflux, is spirited, and was very particular where she slept. Since that point I have cared for other infants with reflux or colic, and I want to tell you that they like nap time and/or playtime within the Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome.
The main structure lifts the unit slightly off the ground, but better yet it allows for a gentle bounce effect when your child moves. This creates a natural type of movement that sensitive children seem to appreciate. The framework is incredibly strong – as shown when a three-year-old climbed into it, with no sustained damage (not an action I recommend, but things happen).
This play-center folds up and the carrying handles allow for the light structure – approximately 13 lbs. – to be carried with ease. Especially important considering that we usually end up toting several pieces of equipment.
Colors vary depending on when the unit is purchased. Our Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome is a blue color with accents of royal blue, and is embellished with a ‘pet’ print that includes multiple bold colors. The pad is removable/machine washable, and the entire structure can be cleansed with a moist, soapy cloth and/or a baby wipe.
The Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome includes three detachable toys. These affix via Velcro tabs. Inclusion of these was a nice compliment to the unit. Babies like to coo at the objects, bat at them, and mouth them when they are removed from the structure. I have successfully washed these in the washing machine, but always air-dry them. The coloring continues to be vivid, and the overall appearance is great.
One of my favorite reasons for maintaining the Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome has to do with the sun-shading canopies and protective netting. These canopies join/zip together, allowing a snug closure to keep out pesky flies and mosquitoes.
I despise bugs and can’t stand the thought of them intruding onto baby or interrupting the blissful slumber. This feature allows me to safely bring baby outside for naptime while the older kids enjoy the fresh breeze. As baby slumbers peacefully, I needn’t worry about bee stings or other pest intrusion. Add to this the fact that this unit sits slightly above the ground… oh a safe haven this is. *smile*
I extremely suggest the Bounce 'n Play™ Activity Dome by Fisher Price and prefer it versus a variety of other infant equipment. My friends have borrowed this for camping excursions because of the convenient zip netting. Although much baby equipment is disposed of when the child in care no longer needs it, this item is one that we keep.
