Very good gift for any kid of any age. Read many reviews before buying it and didn't read one bad one. This toy is very durable and easy to put together by my son. Able to provide fun even without the batteries but into the train. Some of the pieces are easy to loose. But has alot of attachments and add-ons that can be added onto the set to make it even better. My son loved this and played it for hours when he had first got it during christmas. Although most of the pieces are missing right now the logs, rocks, and boxes. I plan on expanded my sons set to add more enjoyment to the set. This is a toy I am sure that he will not lose intrest any time soon.
