Pros: Ease of use, ease of assembly, baby is happy to sit in it.
Cons: Minor things, like wheels that lock too easily.
The Bottom Line: This chair was recommended to us by friends as well as the "Baby Bargains" book. We're glad we took their advice.

| sprint_sucks's Full Review: Fisher Price Healthy Care High Chair |
Our seven month old loves her Fischer Price Healthy Care Plus High Chair.
The high chair came in a small box. I laid all the pieces out on the floor and without too much trouble, had it together in no time. Now, I'm not a big fan of Fischer Price's method of putting three languages together in the same instruction set, but they really have it mastered on how to make something really easy to assemble and the illustrations are so great that I rarely need to actually read the instructions, usually a quick glance at the picture and I could complete the step, no sweat.
The chair really is a thing of beauty. The features I really like about it:
- vinyl (not cloth) for easy clean-up
- 7 height adjustments
- a seat with two reclining positions (plus upright)
- a large, sturdy and tall center post to prevent submarining (where the baby slides under the seat and their head becomes trapped between the seat and the tray, often resulting in death)
- a five-point harness (over the shoulders, around the waist, between the legs)
- three removable, dishwasher safe tray covers + a decent base tray
- one-handed removal and attachment of base tray
- toys that are attached to the base tray on tethers - can be played with our put out of reach off the sides but won't fall on floor
- wheels
- it can fold up
Things that are less than great:
- attachment posts on back of high chair to hold base tray - once you get the hang up of it, you can quickly attach it one handed, but it is difficult to master and holds the tray and toys very close to the ground
- locking wheels. Way too easy to lock.
- side trays to hold bottles or formula on one side and a cage on the other to hold toys - a nice idea, but makes it too wide to wheel around
- cloth headrest... why make it all vinyl and then throw that in to get potentially dirty?
We love the high chair. Our daughter can sit in it without the tray in place and be completely secure because of the five-point harness and center post. Like that, she's been described by others as "queen of the world" and "commander of a starship." because she just has such a commanding presence in such a cool looking chair. With the wheels, we can move it from room to room while we're working on things and keep her close. When she's up high, she is just so happy because she's very close to us. When she's down low, we can recline the seat and let her watch Bear in the Big Blue House. She loves sitting in the chair and playing with the included toys, or other toys we put on the tray. There is one toy she's pulled over onto herself a couple of times and made herself cry, but that's more a fault of the toy than of the high chair.
All in all, I would really recommend this chair, it's very competent. The things that aren't great, aren't bad, or things we can work around. She enjoys the chair and we're happy with how safe she is when she's in it.
