Very soothing

Pros:Soothing
Cons:watch that rocker foot!

I bought this for my son as an impulse buy. I thought it was cute. I knew he didn't like the bouncy-seats, but this was different. It vibrated. I thought, why not? It was about $40, but I figured if he likes it, it was worth the expense. I already knew that he didn't care for his swing, so I was desperate.

It was fairly easy to put together. The directions had pictures so it was pretty idiot-proof, no offense if you bought one and had a hard time with putting it together. It told you in detail where to put which piece.

One thing that I liked about this was that it was very easy to wash. You pull out a rod and the whole piece (the blue cloth) came off in one piece and you washed it. You had to hang to dry to prevent shrinking, but on a nice day, I could hang it out and it wouldn't take a long time to dry. Then, it just slid back into place and held on with velcro around the arms. It also has a board that slid into a pocket to act as a seat. It has a snap that holds it into place.

This was one of my son's favorite things when he was younger. He would sit in it and watch tv and fall asleep. The gentle vibration would sooth him to sleep. He liked the bright color blue of the seat also. The pictures didn't hold much interest, but he liked the blue. I liked the piece that came up in between my son's legs and help him in place. He was about a year old before he started to try to climb out. The belt helped keep him from falling on his head.

This seat is nice for older children, too. There is a bar that holds the seat in place and keeps it from rocking for infants and you can move the bar back for older children and the chair will rock. You have to watch that this doesn't accidently get pushed back as an infant can flip over. He really didn't care for the rocking chair, though, he just liked the vibrating chair when he was a baby. I ended up selling the chair, but I feel that we got our money's worth out of it as he use it for 8 months or more.
