Re: Thanks for the reveiw, still up in the air (Reply to this comment)

Yeap, Poochie didn't walk, but the advanced robotic dog. I don't remember what's called. I remembered that it walks and wiggles the tail too.
The siliver one costed about 90 dollars.
As far as this product goes, I think the company may upgrade later. That's how they make money. I don't believe that the technology today is not able to make touch screen or color......
Anyway, thanks for reading...

Thanks for the reveiw, still up in the air (Reply to this comment)
by mom2emma
Thanks for the good reveiw, I am still up in the air about it though. My daughter (who has EVERYTHING) turns 3 in 2 weeks and we are desperately scrambling for a gift. She loves it in the store (though I have to remind her to touch the buttons not the screen, I agree it would have been better in a color touch screen). Hmmm, decisions decisions.
BTW Poochie didnt walk he only would stand or sit, that is how he moved his legs. Mostly likely FP could fix the screen issue but there is no hope on the walking, he would need a whole different shape and proportion b/c his body is too heavy, he would need HUGE feet to walk on and then only go slow. Oh and I have emailed companies before about improvements and the response I get is that since they are already in production there is nothing they can do, so that STINKS, I bet you are right, if they do anything it will be just come out w/ a new and improved (read pricier) one. I swear they need parents on their board to review things, I always come up w/ imrpovements on toys that wouldnt be all that hard in about 5 mins.

Kinderbot Didn't Deliver (Reply to this comment)
by BeachShopper
My three year old son loved the Kasey The Kinderbot display at all of the toy stores since it's introduction a few months ago.
He opened his up on Christmas Day! It was working well until his 19 month old sister pushed the orange "HOME" button. The LCD went blank! I had to press the reset button underneath, and turn the power off. When powered up it seemed to work for about 5 minutes, then the LCD went blank again. It continues to work, continues to play the game, asking questions, moving and lighting up, just no LCD display to look at! Well, we are off to the store to exchange this one, and give it another try! A huge dissapointment opening a defective Fisher Price Product on Christmas Morning.

Didn't know I have so many comments on this little guy...
Anyway, I did send a feed back to FisherPrice.
However, I don't think that they will recall it. :)
They probably will produce a version II or KinderBot.
Hey, that's how they make money. Keep upgrading stuff....
They know it can be touch screen, it can be color, it can move their legs and yet they don't want to do that yet!!

Great Review - you should seriously call up Fisher Price and show them where their R&D people dropped the ball - I'm laughing the whole while, reading you review, because I got a Kasey for my little niece and she did exactly the same thing with the screen (thought it was touch screen!)
