Pros:Simple fun
Cons:It is a rather "hard" toy for little ones.
The Bottom Line: This toy is so cute and fun. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I bought this toy for my 11 month old daughter. I loved the theme of the toy, and the characters were so sweet and detailed. I couldn't resist the purchase with such a reasonable price.

The Noah's Ark is made of heavy plastic. It is a very sturdy toy, but I always sit close to Livie when she plays with it, and I never allow her to carry it around when she walks because I know with one stumble and she would be badly hurt by the hard plastic construction.

Live's favorite aspect of the toy is the cute, little animals and people. There are bears, birds, zebras and
Noah and his wife. (I am leaving out some, I think) All of the people/animals are colorful and just the right size for little hands. They are made from a softer plastic, so I don't worry about Livie hurting herself when she plays with them. They are safe for chewing, and they are sturdy enough to stand on their own for floor play.

The ark itself has nooks and crannies where the animals or people can be hidden. There is a trap door and several windows. The top of the ark serves as a lid, and it is easily removed so that the people and animals can be stored (or found). Livie spends a lot of time stuffing the animals inside of the ark and then trying to figure out how to get them out. She isn't quite at the stage yet where she is able to sit and spend a lot of time playing with the toy, but her older brother enjoys it greatly. He will actually spend hours playing out scenerios with the toy. Thus, I know that the toy still has many years left of play to it, and that makes it even a more reasonable buy.

One downfall of the toy is that the ark isn't easy to clean. It's design allows for deep creases and detail, and dirt is trapped. The toy must be submerged in water if you want it thoroughly cleaned. I
