lbuffo's Full Review: Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Aquarium Bouncer
I got this lightweight bouncy seat as a baby shower gift. And used it until my son hit the 25 lb weight limit. It features an ocean-themed fabric seat with lap harness restraint that is machine washable (line dry the dryer seems to break down the padding), calming vibrations, manual or motion activated toy bar, and a tank filled with swimming fish, bubbles, colored lights, and music. My son loved the fishies, they were his little buddies! Today he loved just watching the ocean, I don't know if there's any connection but this seat definately helped to relax him!
Four selections of music and sounds with high or low volume control (ocean waves, a babbling brook, summer rain, or lullabies). It's easy to get the baby out with the removable toy bar features brightly colored toys with spinners, teethers, and textures to stimulate babys sight and touch. Calming vibrations soothe baby like a ride in the car or gentle bouncing motion activated by baby's own movement. My son loved to nap in his seat!
Four "D" alkaline batteries are required (not included), they usually last a month for the vibration and 2 months for the toy bar (fish tank), so make sure you stock up on batteries.
This is bouncer is perfectly portable so that you can take it everywhere baby goes. It would be nice if it had a 5 point harness instead of the 3 point harness and you may want to put a few blankets around your baby so he/she won't slide around.
