Cons: sucks the life out of batteries faster than any other toy I know of.

I was so excited when I bought this toy. What an ingenious idea!! Obviously my infant son thought so too. It's almost like he can't stop looking at it. There are some times I don't know what I would do without it. My son will lay in his crib and gaze at it until he slowly falls asleep. He really loves it!!
Well, I suppose I should get down to the basics and tell you general stuff.
The aquarium is about ten inches by ten inches and has two straps in the back so you can attach it to a crib. It has several different settings for sounds, plain bubbles, bubbles with a surf sound, and two different songs. It doesn't get annoying at all like most toys, it really is soothing to listen to. You can have the back of the aquarium lit up or not. It takes four size c batteries, and it doesn't seem to get much playing time out of them. Maybe we just use it a lot, but it really seems to go through batteries really fast, and batteries aren't cheap. That's really the only bad thing about the aquarium though. I was a little worried that it might leak, but it hasn't yet, and it has been taken practically everywhere we go. It is a little expensive as far as baby toys go, but for as much use as we've gotten out of it, I think it's worth it! It has managed to get my son to sleep when even I couldn't. This is the kind of toy I think my son will be infatuated with for months to come.
