User Rating: Excellent
Pros:It rocks, you can push it, and then the child does it on his own.
The Bottom Line: Best 3 in 1 Trike ever. Works wonders and does what it needs to. Living it up to the Fisher Price name!
First of all, I bought this used, 3 years ago for my back then nine month old son from a local web group in my area.

We lived on a second floor then and my husband went with me to get it and didn't know where to put it! Well first it was outside by the door. Then I finally bought it inside to my sons delight, yes, only 9 months old and he loved rocking on the Trike.
Well he quickly grew up, meaning he's three years old now, and still loves this thing. I went ahead and bought him a regular tricycle since number two was born, and he should be using a bigger bike, no?
Well my number two is a girl and was sitting on this Trike since about 6 months old - behind her older brother navigating the front, and me pushing the back, since he didn't know how to use the pedals now. Only at the age of 3 1/2 he figured out how to use the pedals - and he loves it. He does not want to be pushed, but the handle is a LIFESAVER when you are touring the city streets - up and down sidewalks - especially if they don't have a lower sidewalk.
So who used it so far? From age 6+ months, my youngest, which is almost two years old now. My son, with the rocking position, since 9 months old, and now is three years old. Play dates, up till age five. I didn't let anyone older then 4-5 go on the Trike in fear they will break it (but it didn't since there was a 6 year old and a 9 year old that went behind my back and went on it and it is still intact!!) Oh, and I bought it used - a 5 year old boy outgrew it. So I don't know about the putting it together part if you buy it new, but looking at the other reviews, it's sure easy!
It's mighty simple to change it from the rocking position to the Trike position - you simply remove a red bar from the bottom, move the handle back to the pushing position, and slide the red bar back in. No hassle!
Watch it, once the child sees you do it, he'll want to do it to - so you give a warning or else the red bar will go missing and you'll have to take the pushing part off. Which didn't happen to me, Thank G-d, but a smart little five year old that comes over to play keeps on taking it out and my three year old caught on and does it to. Says he's Fixing it! Plus, there's something with kids that like to walk around holding sticks anyhow. Hey, it keeps them occupied and now it's a 4 in 1 Trike!
Well to make this long story short, my three year old and almost two year old figured out how to sit on it together at the same time and they just ride around laughing. It sure helped moving to a ground floor house with a brick driveway for this fun! Plus, I never used it as the rocking position for my second baby, since the first one was always using it, and I just did it last week and wow are they happy!
To end off, I love toys that do more then one thing and keep forever! Thank you Fisher Price!
