| jma924's Full Review: Fisher Price Tape Recorder |
My daughter might only be two and a half years old, but she can belt out some tunes that would challenge any singing sensation! Thanks to the Fisher Price Tape Recorder, we have a Diva-in-Training!
We bought her this tape recorder/microphone for Christmas this year after getting a lot of use out of an older-model tape recorder that had been passed down to her from one of her older cousins. This toy is one of her favorites--she spends many hours singing into the microphone and just recently has learned how to put in her own little cassette tapes! Among her favorite things to sing over the microphone are the ABC song and "Take Me Out TO The Ballgame! (courtesy of my husband and dad).
This toy is durable and has withstood many bumps, drops and has even been used as a "step-stool" (although I wouldn't recommend using it for such uses. But perhaps the best feature of this toy is its volume control! If I had to think of one drawback, it would be its use of batteries. If your child is going to be playing with this a lot, particularly playing tapes in it, I would suggest investing in some rechargeable batteries!!
This toy is definitely a favorite at our house and lives up to the Fisher Price standards that we have all come to expect!
