Pros: Low Impact, Compact
Cons: HEAVY, takes up LOTs of space & doesn't offer a real work out!
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't waste the money! Maybe if it was free & you have the extra room, but I still wouldn't take it!

| kymy's Full Review: FitnessQuest Tony Little Gazelle Glider Freestyle ... |
I will be honest I am a pretty lazy person & when I got divorced I let my self go! Anyways I hate running & a prego friend let me use her Gazelle for a few months. Another friend of mine also has one & I have since given mine back & she has sold hers.
NOT small or light!!!! Yes it folds up compact from its set up size, but it is NOT light & the wheels are crap unless you have all flat hardwood floors. I think most of the work out for me was setting it up & taking it down! Also even though it uses an average amount of floor space for set up it requires a lot of clearance to actually use it which sucks if you are in a small space! & though its pretty flat it still takes up a lot of space for storage because it is tall & wide.
As far as the work out it self goes I wouldn't call it that. I will admit that I could feel it a bit in my arms the first time, but even being on it for 1 hour going non-stop my heart rate barely increased & I didn't sweat at all. I get more exercise walking around outside or at the mall. If it can't make me sweat at all its not gonna help me loose weight.
That being said my & my friend are both just overweight for our height.... For someone that had a lot of weight to loose, is older & or has medical problems they maybe able to get a good work out, or be a good starting tool to get them more active, but I don't feel that it offers what is promised in the infomercials. I am just glad that I didn't buy one brand new!
