Pros: Easy for a novice to use, great lower body workout!
Cons: Though it doesn't work the upper body much, for some of us that's an advantage!
The Bottom Line: I love the Gazelle. It's perfect for someone with arm/shoulder pain who still needs to work out.

| annsavage2's Full Review: FitnessQuest Tony Little Gazelle Glider Freestyle ... |
We've had the Tony Little Gazelle exercise machine for several years. My husband originally got it because he has bad knees (he eventually got a knee replacement) and he thought it would be a good low-impact workout option.
He couldn't use it for long, as his knees worsened and even standing became painful, let alone standing on moving platforms!
So the Gazelle sat on our covered patio for awhile, unused.
But every so often, I would jump on it. I liked its ease of use, but I wasn't committed to exercising.
Finally, a few months ago, at the age of 53, I realized I had no stamina and I simply had to work out more. The Gazelle was the perfect choice for me.
You see, while my husband has knee problems, I have shoulder problems. Therefore, a machine that gives me the option to exercise my lower half while my hands rest on the outer, non-moving frame, is a huge plus.
In the two-and-a-half months I've been consistently using the Gazelle, I've noticed that my leg muscles have toned up and my efforts at weight loss have worked. Experts always say that "diet and exercise" are the way to lose weight, and it must be true.
I'm happy with the Gazelle. It works very well for me. I just put on headphones and get a rhythm going until I work up a sweat! (Remember, the Gazelle is on the patio.) If I had the indoor space I would definitely use it indoors, with the air conditioning and fans going!
