Pros: Very quiet. Very good strong piece of exercise equipment.
Cons: Cannot store under the bed. A little akwardly heavy to fold up quickly.
After reading some of the reviews on Epinions,(and a 20%off coupon at Sports Authority!!) I decided to buy the Gazelle. I have a Norditrac Elliptical machine in the basement, but, who wants to go into the basement in this cold weather? So, I bought the Gazelle and brought it up to my bedroom, where I thought I could Just fold it up under my bed - WRONG!
Anyway, it took 1/2 hour to set it up, not bad. Very easy instructions. Put the tape in, which by the way, Tony talks constantly about the Freestyle Platinum, which I do not have. How you can measure your pulse just by squeezing the handles. Oh well, not going to listen to his tape anymore anyway, he was too annoying. Stayed on for 40 easy minutes,I didn't feel tired, but the next morning I felt like I got run over!! And its not like I don't exercise, I cardio kickbox every other morning also. Did it again for 30 minutes the next day, and my soreness is going away slowly. Folding up I am still practicing, but like I said, cannot get under the bed due to the arms sticking up. So it leans on the wall. Great doing this when watching TV, since it is so quiet. Tony did have a point with the water bottle holder on the machine that I didn't add on yet, if you don't want to use it for the bottle, use it to hold the remote if you want to turn him off!
