Its no secret how Chuck Norris stays in shape. Since that TV series Walker: Texas Ranger was on Chuck has promoted the Fitness Quest Total Gym. It works for him, but will it work for you?
Total Gym 1500
Designed to be the only piece of equipment youll use, the 1500 has exercises for every body part. The unique movements and form of exercise the 1500 provides allows you to strengthen and stretch at the same time. The 1500 also provides cardiovascular enhancement too. So you can build muscle, increase flexibility, and increase your cardiovascular health all with one machine. The Total Gym features over 60 exercises, comparable to the Bowflex PowerPro, at a very reasonable cost. The Total Gym uses your bodyweight as its resistance, simply increase or decrease the incline of the machine for added resistance. The solid steel construction is fairly durable and slides on side rails with a comfortable seat in the middle.
The amount of weight you can lift is a percentage of your body weight. Minimum resistance is 4% and maximum is 60%. For example, I weigh 230 lbs (or so) making my minimum 9.2 lbs and my maximum is 138 lbs. Dont expect to be a bodybuilder with the Total Gym 1500. It is best suited to toning, endurance, and enhancing muscle definition.
One of the best things is
it comes fully assembled and sets up in seconds. So you can try it out immediately. The instruction manual clearly explains how to execute each exercise. You perform the exercises by grasping the two handles and pulling them according to the instruction manual. Its quick and easy to learn. The hard thing is not to be so gung ho that you work too hard initially and burn yourself out! Ease into your new workout routine and change things up often. You dont want to get bored. The cables are tough and durable and the motions are fluid.

Final Say:
The 1500 is a good machine for its designed use. The 1500 wont make you the next Arnold but it will terminate that fat! I have used the 1500 and other models extensively and enjoy using them. The seat could be more comfortable and a bit longer too. Im tall (6'4") so it can be a little uncomfortable at times. Using the 1500 you wont just work the targeted muscles, youll hit a lot of the supporting muscle and tissue, which is great! I was doing bench press at max resistance for many reps; it had been a long time since I was that sore! Another great benefit of the 1500 is that you will also have full range of motion. This machine would work especially well for seniors, injured athletes (or others), and women who want to tone without gaining a lot of muscle.
Its effective, durable, and low priced! I recommend it!
Thanks!
