Pros:Very Heavy Hardcore. Good Quality
Cons:The band broke up
The Bottom Line: Crushing guitars, screaming vocals, and rage at your co workers
"Fixation On A Coworker",very innovative hardcore record(Or "Killing Music" record!). This album is an every day guide to hating your workplace, and getting back at your coworkers. Even if you don't really like hardcore, or heavy music, I think this would be a good album to have, because when I listen to it it relieves me from stress from my job, or even school.
Just like their website says, "Deadguy is dead". Formed in 1994, and disbanded in 1997, Deadguy accomplished a lot more than most bands do in 3 years. They released 5 albums, and ("Fixation...") was their only studio recorded full length.
I bought this cd around1997 and have been steadily listening to it for the past 5 years. Deadguy is hardcore with a metal type edge. Fans of Coalesce, Dillinger Escape Plan, Today is the Day, or even Unsane will most likely enjoy this album.
The Track Listing is as follows:
Doom Patrol
Pins and Needles
Die With Your Mask On
Baby Arm
Makeshift Atomsmasher
The Extremist
Nine Stiches
Riot Stairs
Apparatus
Crazy Eddie
Although recorded in 1995, the album still sounds crisp by today's standards. It sounds much better than some albums I have purchased in the past year.
