To start off with, I've been to Las Vegas many times in my life. I've stayed at the various mega resorts including MGM Grand, Bellagio, Excalibur, Mirage, and Caesars Palace.

I didn't think that I would be able to find a reasonably priced hotel only a few days in advance. Thursday night I had the idea to go to Las Vegas. So after searching the internet for the best prices for a hotel on the strip, I came across the Flamingo Hilton Hotel. I was able to get this hotel for $80 on a Saturday night!

This hotel is conveniently located across from Caesar's Palace and right next to Bally's in the center of the "strip".


The pool and spa area are situated in a well-maintained area with palm trees, nice flowers and plants. The pool is really big with three waterfalls. There are two nice sized outdoor spas also. We relaxed by the pool all afternoon. It was really crowded with lounge chairs covering the most of the area around the pool. The pool staff was very kind and friendly.

The rooms are fairly spacious for a Las Vegas hotel. Our room had two beds, two chairs and a table, as well as a desk. The bathroom was decent sized, however it was kind of old looking. The tile was kind of brown and yellow.

The casino is really big and can keep you entertained for hours.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in a nice hotel, but can't afford the nicer hotels on the strip.
