My husband and I stayed at the Flamingo during our Vegas stay in May. The worst part of our stay was check in. We had to wait in line for about one hour to check in. It did not seem to matter what time of the day you checked in because there was even a line at 2am.
From there on it was smooth sailing though. The best part of the hotel is the pool grounds. They are just beautiful. There are flamingos, penguins, and fish. There are also several pools which are connected by water slides. The main pool has a wonderful little cove to sit under with a waterfall cascading over it!
There is also no need for transportation because the Flamingo is smack in the center of the strip. You can walk half of the strip one day and walk the other half the next.
With the price,location,and beauty you can't get a better value then the Flamingo.
I'm still craving a bagel smeared with Buggsy's homemade smoked salmon cream cheese. It is out of this world!!!!!!!
