I loved everything about my stay at the Flamingo Hilton except the part about losing money in the casino.
The Flamingo Hilton is located down on the Strip and very close to Bally's and Ceasar's Palace. The Flamingo was one of the originals to Las Vegas, but has been remodeled and is a great hotel/ casino. The Flamingo was one of Bugsy Seigal's joins and have a bar named in his honor.
I went in August and it was extremely hot, however, it is cool and comfortable inside of the casino! However, the rates were very cheap at this time of year ($50). The casino is fairly small for Vegas standards, but is quite nice. They also give free lessons to the table games. Besides gambling the hotel has several different pools surrounded by palm trees. There is also a spa and weight room.
This was a place I would love to visit again.
