Food, Inc. is a beautifully captured documentary about the evolution of food in America. Within the first 5 minutes I felt like I was in a trance; the opening cinematography is jaw-dropping, and the content was surprising. I could tell that this film was not quick to easy to put together. There are so many different sources that contribute to the validity of the information given, such as interviews, statistics, actual news reports, and footage from inside factories and slaughterhouses. However it is not just a strictly informational documentary. It was so entertaining that I couldn't even get up to answer the phone while viewing it. After seeing Food, Inc. I will never be fooled by food products again.
