I think it's around 3.5% here on tap (I believe that lagers here are generally weaker than those in the States, unless they're 'premium' lagers like Stella).
Tastes like mildly flavoured water. Nothing to write home about!!
Have you had Wadsworth 6X? Now there's a nice pint...

I drank this fairly often on draft in England. I don't remember it being so sweet, and I'm sure it was lighter in body and alcohol. My memory isn't as good as it used to be though, can't imagine why. I think the version we get here may be better, but I don't say that with much conviction.

I actually passed 100 about 2 or 3 weeks ago, but have deleted a lot of my older opinions which were a little embarassing. Next task is to go about rewriting some of those old beer reviews, that didn't get much thought put into them.

Ummm...import? (Reply to this comment)

The last time I bought Fosters in the States, it proudly announced in big letters on the front of the can that it was imported.
Upon closer inspection (on the back of the can), I discovered it was indeed imported - from CANADA. Bit of a cheat, really.
I DO drink Fosters in some pubs here (largely Courage pubs, since I don't like Courage Best), and it is pretty flavourless.
As lager goes, when I'm in the States, I'll stick to Sam Adams any day (and Pete's Wicked brews).
Cheers,
Kate

Wow... $10 oil cans of Fosters (Reply to this comment)

What a rip-off. Too bad the concert wasn't at the Hollywood Bowl... where you can bring in your own refreshments and picnic snacks.
Usually, the only time I buy these oil cans is when I want more than 12 oz. of brew and am at a public place... with long lines... and I know that I am going to be too lazy to wait a 1/2 for a refill.
Good review.
