Sparkling water at home!

Pros: Easy to use, economical, works as it should!
Cons: Soda flavors are made with Splenda.
The Bottom Line: I can definitely recommend this to anybody who drinks a lot of sparkling water, or anybody who enjoys Splenda-sweetened soda.

I really love just plain sparkling water with a hint of fruit taste. Before I purchased my Soda Maker I was buying plastic bottles of Talking Rain and cans of other brands of carbonated water. I did not like using so many resources, so buying one of these was a no brainer for me. I paid about $120 to get the Soda Maker, 2 CO2 Canisters, Splenda-sweetened Soda flavors, natural fruit essence flavors, and 4 Plastic Bottles.
Now I get my sparkling water whenever I want without having to buy cans/bottles! All I have to do is fill the bottle with chilled water, attach the bottle to the Soda Maker, press the button down several times, and there it is! You can adjust the amount of carbonation you like.. I like lots of bubbles, so I press it a few extra times. I really love the fruit essences of lime/berry/orange you can purchase. I am drinking a lot more water these days because of the Soda Maker!
I did not use the soda mixers because I dislike artificial sweeteners. It's too bad they don't make them with cane sugar, or even something natural like Stevia. If you are buying this product to make flavored sodas, be sure you enjoy the taste of Splenda. I have not had to purchase any CO2 refills yet, so I cannot comment on the ease of getting refills.
