| ceholmes123's Full Review: Four Seasons Las Vegas |
My husband and I went to the Four Seasons Hotel for our anniversary in April. It was the most wonderful, relaxing, pampering hotel experience we've ever had.
Though our reservations were made during Spring Break - an outrageously busy time in Vegas - there was no more than a ten minute wait to check in. The lobby was so peaceful & lovely that we wouldn't have minded waiting. We were told upon arrival that because we were celebrating our anniversary, they had upgraded us at no charge to a strip view suite. Before I go off in too many directions, trying to explain all that was superlative about this place, let me try to organize it for you:
Service: First on my list, and obviously on theirs too. Expect to be treated like royalty. Every member of the staff we encountered at restaurants, check-in, room service, poolside - you name it - made it clear that they were there to make our trip an absolute joy.
Atmosphere: The entire place is gorgeous. Very sophisticated, lovely, muted colors, top of the line materials, fresh flowers throughout the common areas. Even the restaurants - dreamy. The room was beautiful. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to leave it. The feather pillows so fabulous, we ordered some from the hotel when we got home. The Strip view - spectacular!! After seeing the zoo that was the pool area at Mandalay Bay (shared property) the relatively quiet, beautiful, subdued pool area here was a relaxing treat.
Extras: The Fitness Center is free to use, as are cabanas (with misters) at the pool. Cabana or no cabana, the poolside service is incomparable. Smiling servers came by on regular rounds to ask if we would like to order anything, or perhaps we'd like to be spritzed with Evian water, or have fresh cucumber slices for our eyes?
Coupons for discounts at the spa were placed in our room daily. On our anniversary night, a plate of chocolate dipped strawberries was brought to our room.
Restaurants: Palmer's Steakhouse was incredibly pretty & romantic. Great service, yummy steak, expensive. The "casual" restaurant by the pool had excellent service, and memorably delicious food. All menu items were made from fresh, seasonal delights.
Overall: Why stay anywhere else - ever?
