Pros: Service, Room quality
Cons: Crappy dive center
The Bottom Line: This is a great resort with great service. You'll love the pampering, the food and the water bungalows are spectacular. If you love diving/snorkelling go somewhere else.

| dooijp's Full Review: Angsana Resort & Spa Maldives |
This place really is the nicest resort in the maldives. We stayed in a water bungalow and loved it--try to pay up and stay in one as they are much better than beach bungalows--and skip the plunge pools as they are a waste of money. The room was big, the bathtub had ocean views, and the balcony was great for breakfast. Service was outstanding with guys constantly bringing cold water and face towels to keep you cool. Food was quite good and easily 100 times better than some of the other resorts we visited in the Maldives. My only complaint was the dive shop. Prices were twice what we paid at other resorts and divemasters did not seem to care at all about they were doing. If you love diving and snorkelling there are many better resorts, but if you love lounging about and being pampered go with the Four Seasons. (we stayed at Vadhoo for diving which was great for diving but awful for service--breakfast actually was two boiled eggs and toast) The island is not as small as some of the more intimate resorts which may also be a turnoff for those trying to do the Robinson Crusoe thing.
