Pros: Cheap, look good
Cons: Durability!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend spending a little extra and getting a boot that lasts. Like a helmet, it's an important piece of gear that you shouldn't skimp on.

| adam728's Full Review: Fox Tracker Boots |
I was expecting a lot more out of a Fox brand product, but I suppose you do get what you pay for when you try and cheap out.
My buddy bought these boots and used them for maybe 1 hour. He didn't like the stiffness and sold them to me for $80. My old O'neals were getting pretty beat up (I had about 6 seasons of trail riding / racing on them), so I figured why not?
First thing I noticed is that they were a very stiff boot. I had absolutly no feel for my pegs, shifter, or rear brake. I figured it was because I had been used to my old, well worn boots. I don't think the Trackers ever broke in more, but I did get used to riding in them rather quickly.
After a month or so of use I noticed how very torn up the soles were becoming. They already looked worse than my old boots! I'm running stock pegs on a KDX, and they are far from what I would consider a sharp, boot destoying peg. I also had a few issues with the straps pulling out when racing. Granted, they were taking a beating, but they should stay on the boot!
Well, after a little less than one year of use the soles are completly destroyed. On my last ride out the firmer inner sole of the left boot split while riding on a motocross track. I'll tell you, landing with the footpeg trying to push through your foot is not a pleasant feeling. After searching some forums I have found many others have had the same problem with quickly destroying the soles.
These boots would be worlds better if the main wear area of the soles were replaceable like other boots on the market. Besides that and the buckles occasionally pulling out they worked great. The leather and plastic all held up wonderfully. And they kept my feel dry even when standing in water almost to the top of the boot. I just wish they would have held up better.
