I do agree with your two gripes. I've lost my headset actually while it was on the belt clipand I was looking to replace it. But I'll give the plantronics version a try.

I've been trying to pair a non-bluetooth unit with the car, but it fails every time. I'm following the directions carefully. Did you have any problems?
