I just finished writing a review about Kay's book "How to study the bible", and I feel this book deserves a 5 star rating as well.
This book is a 7 week study guide that takes you through Galatians and Ephesians. It doesn't just say, "okay, here's some verses, read them", instead it takes you through how to read them, how to study them, how to gain knowledge from them, how to apply them into your own life, and so much more.
Each week is divided into a 7 day plan where she tells you which verses to study and what words to pay attention to. She helps you know which ones to mark in your bible and gives you suggestions as to how to mark them for the most effectiveness.
The book is written so it can be used as a personal bible study guide or as a guide for a "class" environment. She includes questions at then end of each week that can be used to generate discussion within a class.
Together with her book, "how to study the bible", I am learning so much about studying my bible and how it applies to me.
You just can't go wrong with this book if you are looking for a study guide for the books Ephesians and Galatians. I wasn't necessarily looking to study these specific books, but the knowledge that I gain from this book will easily carry over into whichever book I decide to focus on next.
