Pros: Rugged Finish, excellent cooling, not too heavy, freezes/makes ice well.
Cons: Poor door seal, low quality door hinges.
We've owned it for going on three years now. It's been 100% trouble-free, except for a few little things.
The door seal, doesn't seal right at the top of the door. It's like it was "smushed" at the factory, and didn't "pop" back out. No air leaks out, but it isn't supposed to happen.
Also, they used a really crappy method of hanging the doors.
The metal "brackets" are very "soft" metal, which cannot hold the weight of the door. Ours started this problem last week. You have to pull the door up to shut it, or it will stay open 1". I'm going to have to make a decent hinge out of titanium, or a thicker steel, because, even after "fixing" it (i.e. bending it back) it's starting to lean again. Everyone knows if you bend steel too many times, it'll snap. Then I'll have a door in the floor. Very poor design.
Other than that, it works very well. It's very quiet, you barely hear it running. Ice machine is somewhat noisy, but hey, chunks of ice falling into a container can only be so quiet.
Very durable finish also, doesn't scrape easy. The seals need to be revised. the freezer seal "snaps" shut, and sounds/feels like a very good seal. the fridge seal is not the same. It kind of just "mushes" against the body, and sits there. I sometimes tug on the door just to make sure it's sealed.
Decent buy for the money, We probably would have gotten a different model of Frigidaire, but due to "pre-made" cabinet size restraints, we went with this one, as it was the only one that wasn't too tall.
