Pros: Nice Features and looks nice in the kitchen.
Cons: Breaks easy apparently
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this to anyone because of the short life of the self cleaning oven.

We purchased this oven this summer when we saw it on sale at a local appliance store. The stove we had was so old that some of the elements were burnt out and not fitting snuggly. It was still fully functional but did not go with our appliances. Still it was probably 20 years old.
I had been wanting to get a ceramic top stove and Hamilton appliances in Gladstone Oregon was having a tent sale so we stopped, saw this and bought it on the spot.
It was delivered and sat up the same day.
We were told you have to use flat bottom pans on the ceramic top so I bought all new pans. I didn't want to scratch the surface of my new stove. It has some lovely features.
Easy to read and set digital clock, Oven timer, digital readout on temp control for the oven. Speed bake which is a fan that comes on as you bake and speeds up the baking time. Timer for baking and a timer you can set if you just want to time something else and a self cleaning oven.
Even though I bought the stove in July it looks brand new. I keep it spit shined.
I have to use a special non abrasive cleaner for the ceramic top. I purchased this separately although a little bottle came with the stove.
I never let anyone else clean it. So when my husband cooks on it and spills all over it he leaves it for me. I am afraid he will scratch it. He loves this when he makes spaghetti and leaves the mess for me.
You cannot pressure cook on this ceramic top. I am not sure why but you cant.
I loved this stove until yesterday. Yesterday I decided to use the self cleaning oven feature for the second time. I set it and the door automatically locked. I don't normally watch the oven while it cleans because it takes 2 or three hours. You can set it for two or three hours.
It automatically went to three hours when I went to set it so I decided to leave it at that. It can be turned off any time within the time you pick.
I heard kind of a popping sound and went and looked and it looked like there was a small fire on the left back element. I called my husband to look and it kind of looked like a match when you light it. Not a full blown fire.
Then the match thing kind of started working its way to the front and I thought maybe that was how it cleaned the element. So I didn't worry to much about it at first. So I went and checked the oven and it wasn't really feeling hot like it had the first time I had used the feature so I shut it off and as soon as the door unlocked I opened it.
Eek, The front right side of the element which had absolutely nothing on it broke completely in two. I was shocked. I have never seen this happen. I have never used harsh chemicals in the oven. I hardly use the oven. I have no idea what cause this . But i will never buy another Frigidaire range again or another appliance by this manufacturer. I have always had appliances that last me forever and usually when they are replaced it is because they are old , like 10 or more years old.
I did get a very good deal on this stove and even though I normally do not buy extended warranties on appliances I did on this one. The original manufactures warranty is good for a year but if I have this kind of a problem when it is only 6 months old then no telling how many times I might need to use the extended one.
This was new in the box it was not a store showroom model, but even if it were I would not have expected this kind of problem with it.
