When thinking about feeding our cats, most of us automatically think of commercial canned cat food. Commercial food is the worst possible diet for your cats and other animals. The food contains cooked meat and derivatives not fit for human consumption (which means your animal shouldn't eat it either) with additives to make it addictive, chemicals & preservatives. It contains cancer causing agents as well as irritants... too much salt, sugar etc. The salt and chemicals, flavours etc. are added to disguise the food content so that your pet is tricked into eating something it would naturally not even touch.
The best food for your cat is Raw organic food consisting of mostly meat with bones (80-90%), mashed vegetables and a little mashed fruit (about 5%). If you research this diet (BARF - Bones and Raw Food), you will see clearly why our pets have so many health problems common in people (cancers etc.). It's because they have been taken away from the diet that they should be receiving.
Please consider taking your cat off Friskies. It is full of harmful chemicals which will reduce the lifespan and short/long term health of your cats. Try this diet for a few months and see how your cat thrives.
