Pros: Friskies Come 'N Get It is 100% nutritionally complete, and even Baby likes it.
Cons: Not as much meat as I would like, but it is 100% nutritionally complete.
Friskies Come 'N Get It is a combination of four different flavors, basted with real meat juices for a delicious taste of beef, chicken, liver, and cheese in every bite.
The crunchy morsels are smaller than the average dog food which makes it easier for smaller dogs to eat. Even baby likes Friskies Come 'N Get It, and she is a very picky eater.
Baby will generally eat from the cat dish, leaving her own food setting untouched. Friskies Come 'N Get It is different, and Baby loves it. Of course she does share with her feline friend Oreo, who also enjoys a taste of Baby's Friskies Come 'N Get It.
Each of the flavors comes in a different shape. There are triangles, circles, bones and fish shapes. Each is also a different color, all are assorted shades from nature.
Aside from the assorted shades of brown, the aroma of Friskies Come 'N Get It is another factor which I like. Although it is not particularly appealing, it is not an offensive odor either. It does seem to be very attractive to Baby. Although the aroma is stronger than some, it is not so strong as to offend the nose.
The main ingredients of Friskies Come 'N Get It include:
Ground yellow corn, beef and bone meal, soybean meal, rice mill by-product and animal fat.
While this may not be the most impressive list I've seen, Friskies Come 'N Get It does provide a 100% nutritionally complete diet for your canine companion.
Friskies Come 'N Get It provides protein and amino acids to build and maintain strong, healthy tissue. It provides carbohydrates which help her to enjoy the energy necessary to remain active. It provides essential fatty acids to help maintain healthy skin and coat. The calcium and phosphorous provided join with other minerals to strengthen her bones and teeth. Friskies Come 'N Get It also contains iron for healthy blood, and vitamin E as an antioxidant, and a natural preservative.
I got the bonus 25 pound bag, which gave me 25 pounds for the price of 20. I paid around $6.00 for the bag, and was very glad I did since this is one of the only two dry dog foods I've found that Baby will even eat. She really seems to enjoy her Friskies Come 'N Get It.
There is a feeding chart on the side of the bag, which explains the appropriate amount of food to feed your dog, depending on size. The chart is also broken down by breeds which I find interesting since most foods don't have it broken down this way.
The most impressive feature of this food to me though is that Baby actually likes it. It's difficult to find a food that she likes, so when I find one she will eat I am very happy to find it.
I would recommend Friskies Come 'N Get It to anyone who has a difficult time finding a reasonably priced food for their dog, especially if your dog is as picky as my Baby.
