Pros: cod, sole and shrimp, fish broth, NO soy, NO wheat gluten,
Cons: meat by-products, expensive, only comes in 3 oz. size.
The Bottom Line: This is one of the better varieties by Fancy Feast. Cod, Sole are the first two ingredients, and cat response in my house is most enthusiastic!

Fancy Feast is one line of foods that offers incredible variety, both in flavors offered as well as textures and preparations. It's been a fascinating journey exploring all that they offer as I seek the best cat food for my aging cats various needs.

Let's not delay...this is one of the most important sections of any cat food review - how likely is your cat to eat this stuff? The taste testers reports:Tyler Yum....please keep this as one of my regular foods...oh please!

Between the 3 reports I'd average this to be 3 1/2 paws up! The response from Ophelia is particularly significant...as she is notoriously picky. This is my (for any Megatokyo fans out there), cold brown mactabby American Curl diva cat who is a lovely example of a cat with a "sad girl in snow" eyes, face and attitude!
~Popping the Lid
Fancy Feast Cod, Sole & Shrimp Feast smells delightfully fishy once you've popped open the can using the convenient pop-top lid. Inside is 3 ounces of soft, finely ground food with a bit of clear broth. As with all Fancy Feast products, this "feast" is formulated to meet AAFCO standards.

Cod, sole, liver, meat by-products,fish, fish broth, shrimp, natural and artificial flavors, guar gum, titanium dioxide color, and a full complement of vitamins, minerals including added Taurine.

Crude Protein...(min)13%, Crude Fat...(min)2%, Crude Fiber...(max)1.5%, Moisture...(max)78%, Ash...(max)3.5%, Taurine...(min)0.05%.
~Final Thoughts
Fancy Feast is a line of expensive cat foods available only in tiny 3 oz. cans, manufactured and distributed by the Nestle Purina Petcare Company. While I may have concerns over some ingredients in some of the flavors, one can not deny they have something my cats want! Cod, Sole & Shrimp Feast is one of their better foods...with cod and sole being the first two ingredients, NO soy, NO wheat gluten, mainly fish products, though there are still meat by-products snuck into this flavor. I recommend this flavor for your fish-craving cat, and definitely recommend it as a fragrant flavor to tempt a cat whose appetite is off.
