Pros: Real whole shrimp, fish and fish broth, cat will eat it!
Cons: expensive, comes only in one small size (3 oz.)
The Bottom Line: A simply fishy delight full of fish, fish broth and shrimp...no junk or gunk, well fortified with vitamins. Expensive, but worth any price if your cat will eat it!

We are becoming experts in my home of every flavor made by Fancy Feast, and opinionated as to which flavor is worth buying a second time. This flavor is one that is well received, and on my "to buy again" list.
What does one get in this flavor of gourmet cat food?
Pop open that convenient pop-top can (easy open compared to Alpo's heavy metal, death to one's fingers if you aren't careful while popping the top off), and you will see 3 oz. of tiny whole shrimp in an opaque fish broth, with fish mixed throughout. Yes, it does smell...fishy, and strong and that works to one's advantage in trying to stimulate your cat's appetite, or to tempt a finicky kitty post-surgery or post-illness.
Is it healthy?
The food has no ucky preservatives such as I choose to not feed my cat. There is no BHA/BHT, and no ethoxyquin...whatever one's opinion is on this, you should be aware there is a debate, and that some cat food companies choose to not use the above listed three.
The food is fortified with vitamins and minerals (a list for those who might be interested is provided below), has a mid-range of Ash content, and minimal carbohydrates added...it is a wonderful "dish" for our furry carnivore's.
Taste Test
Done by Patrick - he really likes it. Not every day, but that is in line with his particular health issues. It is liked enough to be on the "buy again" list.

Final Thoughts
This meets the claim of being a gourmet food, and the first 3 listed ingredients are fish, or fish broth, and shrimp. It is a fortified, simple recipe with good "smell" and "taste" appeal. It is easy to find, being sold in most grocery stores and pet stores.
Patrick and I give this 3 paws up.
One last note, this is only distributed by Nestle Purina Petcare Company (the owners of Friskies and Friskies Fancy Feast). Fancy Feast Flaked Fish & Shrimp Feast Gourmet Cat Food is a product of Thailand.
