Cons: The price, although sometimes I can find it on sale.
The Bottom Line: Recommended-change in my cat's overall health and disposition was positive after she started eating Friskies' Senior Diet.

| calicomist's Full Review: Friskies Senior Cat Food |
Friskies now has a senior diet available-which is great, because my cat Snuggles is 12 years old and has dental problems. She has eaten Friskies for years and loves it. Since she's been eating Friskies' "Senior Diet," Snuggles has more energy and is more playful. A can of cat food, I read somewhere, is equal in size to about six mice. There's no way Snug can eat six mice in one meal; maybe years ago, when she was younger, but not today. So with the convenient self-opening life, I'm able to dish it out three times a day to her. You can easily get a day's meal from one can, but I supplement her daily can with some dry cat food as a "snack."
Friskies 'Senior Diet' has no carved or chunks of meats. It is a nice texture for Snug. It also has gravy, which makes the cat food moist but not mushy. I thought gravy in pet food was unheard of except in certain canned dog foods, but I guess I was wrong again. It's also convenient to store-the cans stack on top of each other. There are a variety of "flavors" available, which is great for finicky cats. Sometimes if you just add a new flavor now and then, the cat is usually content to stay with the brand. Friskies has many varieties, from turkey, chicken, tuna, beef, and lamb. Friskies is probably aware this cat behavior and this is why they have have so many different flavors of cat food. My cat has never gotten tired of Friskies, and I'm glad they have created a advanced stage. We've had her since she was a kitten. Friskies has been around a long time-I trust brands that have stood the test of time. There are also coupons available for Friskies on the Internet occasionally, and Friskies has great customer support. I think they also have a newsletter. Friskies has periodic sweepstakes for cute cat photos and things like that. This company has very good customer service and maintains superb customer relations, although I've never needed to contact them about anything.
